JAMMU, Aug 2: The dead body of an unidentified man was recovered today from Narwal area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the dead body of a male of age about 50 years was found this evening near New Bus Stand falling under the jurisdiction of police post Narwal.
On getting information, police immediately reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, for identification and post mortem.
A case in this regard has been registered at concerned police station and inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC started. According to the police, the man appears to be a beggar.
