JAMMU, Aug 3: Strongly denouncing the BJP for its trail of empty talk and false promises on AIIMS, Harshdev Singh, JKNPP chairman and former Minister, today said that the people of Jammu region would not relent and continue their agitation till appropriate written orders were issued by the Government of India on the subject in consonance with the provisions of AIIMS Act 1956.
Addressing a press conference here at Party headquarters, Harsh said that misleading statements and reckless rejoinders issued one after the other by BJP leaders had only antagonized the people of Jammu region resulting in intensification of agitation.
Ridiculing the statement of State Health Minister on AIIMS, Singh said that he had not only exceeded his brief but had made a desperate effort to sabotage the agitation by his deceptive statements. He observed that the statement of the loud mouthed dunderhead of the Saffron brigade who had only recently shifted his loyalties on the eve of elections to occupy a ministerial berth in BJP had evoked more of cynicism than criticism.
Likewise the statements of Nirmal Singh, Jugal Kishore, Bali Bhagat and Ganga were highly ambiguous and deceptive and had only added fuel to fire.
Lambasting the BJP leaders for making nauseating statements on AIIMS, he said that such ambiguous and fabricated stories can’t help them to obfuscate truth and to conceal their real character.
Urging upon the people of Jammu region to remain united, he said that a herculean effort with everybody’s support was required to straighten the dents inflicted upon Dogra pride by the foxy BJP.
Calling upon the BJP to take immediate measures for early written orders on AIIMS, he cautioned the saffron brigade that any delay could have catastrophic fallout with earth shaking consequences.
Present on the occasion included Balwant Singh Mankotia, Yash Paul Kundal, State president, Young Panthers, Vilakshan Singh, Gagan Pratap Singh, Balram Kundal, Anil Rakwal and Neeraj Gupta.
