JAMMU, Aug 3: One person was arrested today with a huge contraband of illegal capsules and injections in Sidhra area of city ourskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, on specific inputs a police team of police post Sidhra laid a naka at Sidhra and intercepted a bike-borne man. On thorough checking, a huge quantity (about 2000) of illegal capsules and injections were recovered from the possession of the person, who has been identified as Muneer Ahmed son of Masum Ali, a resident of Sidhra.
The accused person was arrested on the spot along with the illegal drugs. The arrest and recovery were made by a police team of police post Sidhra led by SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bhushan Sharma along with Incharge, police post Sidhra, Noor Ahmed under the supervision of Incharge, SSP Jammu, Rajiv Pandey.
In this connection, a case FIR No 160/15 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at concerned police station.
