JAMMU, Aug 4: A meeting of the All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) was held at village Asarwan (Mishriwalla) under the chairmanship of Bansi Lal Verma to discuss issues of OBC community.
The meeting was also attended by the OBC members of the surrounding villages in which State president, Abdul Majid Malik along with his central committee members, was the chief guest.
During the meeting, speakers lambasted the BJP for going back from its promises made to the people of Jammu and added that BJP is running the Government without social justice and harping only over the false propaganda of good governance and development.
They also lambasted BJP ministers for maintaining silence over implementation of Mandal Report and their failure in enhancing the creamy layer from Rs 4.5 lacs to Rs 6 lacs and issuing a circular for the renewal of OSC Certificate on the basis of income certificate.
The meeting appealed the State OBCs to remain united under one umbrella of AIBCU for getting their constitutional rights and also appealed all to give full support to the coordination committee struggling for Jammu AIIMS.
