JAMMU, Aug 5: A delegation of Drivers and Cleaners Union of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) led by its president Ranjit Singh met Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh, here today.
The discussed various issues pertaining to regularization of 33 contractual drivers and release of two and a half days salary in favour of drivers and cleaners with the Deputy Chief Minister.
Dr Nirmal Singh assured the delegation that both the demands will be fulfilled at an earliest.
Prominent among others who were part of the delegation were Suresh Sharma, Jaspal Singh, Attar Singh, Sukhvinder, Jodh Singh, Tara Singh, Chanchal and Narinder Singh.
