JAMMU, Aug 5: Two cousins were injured in a fire accident due to leakage of LPG cylinder at their residence in Narwal area falling under the jurisdiction of police station Satwari while a lady allegedly tried to end her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence at Muthi.
The mishap occurred late last night when the both were repairing their Gas stove. In the mishap both received minor injuries and were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
Meanwhile, a woman identified as Rekha (20) wife of Kala, a resident of Chattarpur (at present Muthi) allegedly made an abortive attempt on her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her temporary residence at Muthi. She was also shifted to GMCH for treatment.
In both cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
