Cardamom futures fall for on low demand

NEW DELHI, Aug 6:  Falling for the fourth straight day, cardamom eased further 0.59 per cent to Rs 770 per kg in futures trade today as speculators engaged in trimming position amid falling demand at the spot market.
At Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in August traded lower by Rs 4.60, or 0.59 per cent to Rs 770 per kg in a business turnover of 330 lots.
Market analysts said besides easing demand at the spot market, ample stocks on higher supplies from producing regions kept pressure on cardamom prices in futures trade. (PTI)
