JAMMU, Aug 6: A meeting of Migrant Teachers Welfare Association (MTWA) was held under the chairmanship of of its president Ramesh Raina, today.
The meeting discussed various issues of the teachers raised by Balji Marhatta, general secretary of the association. The association has appealed Chief Minister, School Education Minister and Commissioner Secretary School Education to adjust all unadjusted Masters of Government order No. 928 of 2013 and others in different migrants camp, Higher Secondary Schools at Jammu as there is dearth of Subject teachers in these camp schools.
The association has also appealed to the concerned authorities and Chief Education Officers, Leh that Migrants Masters who are under orders of Transfer from Leh Ladakh to Jammu should be relieved at an earliest as they have completed their tenure in Leh Ladakh.
The association also supports the genuine demands of ReT Teachers and appealed the Government to revoke the order of holding screening test of these teachers.
