SRINAGAR : Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah today expressed serious concern over the second militant attack in as many days in Udhampur in Jammu region.
On August 5, a militant attack left two Border Security Force personnel (BSF) dead and 13 others wounded, while a militant was also gunned down and another was captured alive near Nassoo in simroli area of Udhampur.
Last night militants attacked a police post in which two police personnel were injured. The working president of the National Conference (NC), in a tweet said, ”Another militant attack in Udhampur.
What the heck is happening there? This was an area that was militant-free for a number of years now.” (AGENCIES)
