NEW DELHI, Aug 7: Mentha oil prices marginally went higher by 0.39 per cent to Rs 896 per kg in futures market today as speculators built up positions supported by rising demand from consuming industries in spot markets.
Further, tight stocks position in the physical market following restricted arrivals from producing region also supported the uptrend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in August moved up by Rs 3.50, or 0.39 per cent, to Rs 896 per kg in business turnover of 439 lots.
