Yudhvir Sethi launches development works

JAMMU, Aug 7: Senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi today kick started work of lane, drain and slab in Ward No. 19 of Chand Nagar area here.
The development works would be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 2.80 lacs and would include construction of lanes, drains and other allied works.
While speaking on the occasion, Yudhvir said focused attention is being paid to develop Jammu into a smart city and funds to the tune of Rs 100 crores have been earmarked for the project.
He said the Union Government has sanctioned funds for improving urban infrastructure in the city and special attention would be given to implement smart solutions in the Urban Governance.
“The Coalition Government is getting active support from the Central Government and exemplary initiatives have been taken to upgrade infrastructure in the state,” he added.
