Qureshi appointed Hony Treasurer IRCS

SRINAGAR, Aug 7: Governor N. N. Vohra, President, Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) J&K, has appointed, Ghulam Ahmad Qureshi, former Director General, Economics & Statistics, Planning and Development, J&K as Honorary Treasurer, IRCS, J&K.
Mr. Qureshi is a member of several Central and State level expert committees on statistics and evaluation and has varied experience in the field of developmental planning, programme evaluation, economic analysis and statistical/ survey operations.
He is also the founder author of the first Economic Survey Report (2005-06) of J&K State, and has worked as Consultant to the State Government for formulation of 12th Five Year Plan and for drawing up a road map for the implementation of the State Finance Commission Report. He has also worked as State Quality Monitor MGNREG, written books and contributed several papers in reputed Journals.
