JAMMU, Aug 7: A migrant worker engaged in a floor mill in Bari Brahamana area was found in unconscious condition at its workplace.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Ramesh (25) son of Gabbu Ram, a resident of UP (at present Bari Brahmana) was found in unconscious condition in premises of Bhagwati Flour Mill, Palli Morh near Bari Brahmana, this morning with some injuries on his face.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital and later to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he died this afternoon.
The concerned police registered a case in this regard and started investigations. However, preliminary investigations revealed that the man was drunk excessively and in inebriated condition he fell on the ground and received injuries on his face and forehead due to which he died.
