JAMMU, Aug 7: A woman, who was admitted here in Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) after her condition deteriorated on eating wild mushroom, expired this afternoon.
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Anchal Devi (28) wife of Rattan Chand, a resident of Bani in Kathua district, was admitted here at GMCH on August 5 after she consumed wild mushroom after cooking. She passed away today at about 3 pm in the hospital.
The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for conducting postmortem tomorrow. The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
