DDC, others highlight problems

JAMMU, Aug 7: A delegation of Durganagar Development Committee (DDC) under the chairmanship of P L Sudesh met today Minister for Forest, Social Welfare and Environment Bali Bhagat and apprised him the problems of their locality especially in ward number 64, Durganagar.
The Minster listened to their grievances patiently and assured that their problems regarding cleaning of lanes, drains and damaged roads will be looked into, and needful repairs shall be done immediately. The delegation also met Executive Engineer JMC (Electric) and apprised him about non-functional of water cooler in their area.
Meanwhile a delegation of Kaliash Nagar, Tilab Tillo visits Excelsior office and told about the choked drains and non-functional electric lamps in their area. They have requested the concerned authorities to look into their problems at the earliest.
The inhabitants of Bhawani Nagar Lane 12 have also urged the concerned authorities of Jammu Municipal Corporation to remove silt and cleaning of blocked drains in their area.
