NEW DELHI, Aug 8: Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section remained unchanged at the local truck transport market today following easy position of trucks against restricted cargo movements.
Transporters said besides restricted cargo movements, ample position of trucks in the markets, largely kept freight rates at previous levels.
Following are today’s freights per 9-tonne load (in Rs): Jaipur 14,500 Hyderabad 54,000 Chandigarh 16,500 Vijayawada 56,000 Ludhiana 17,500 Bengaluru 61,000 Kanpur 20,000 Chennai 64,000 Indore 22,000 Mysore 65,000 Ahmedabad 24,000 Puducherry 67,000 Baroda 25,000 Coimbatore 69,000 Patna 29,000 Kochi 73,000 Surat 27,000 Thiruvananthapuram 79,000 Mumbai 28,000 Goa 52,000 Pune 29,000 Gwalior 15,000 Kolkata 32,000 Guwahati 54,000 (PTI)
