REASI, Aug 8: A Selection Grade Constable hailing from Poonch committed suicide by hanging in District Police Lines here today.
Official sources said that SGC Mohammed Fazal ( Belt No. 412/ RSI), son of Uzama, resident of Sanai village in Poonch committed suicide by hanging from the grill of stairs in the DPL complex this afternoon. The cop was reportedly suspended and said to have taken this extreme step out of frustration.
The police registered a case and started investigation. After completion of legal formailities the dead body of the deceased cop was sent to his home village in Poonch.
