JAMMU : The National Investigation Agency team visited the site of August 5 Udhampur attack and interacted with the locals, senior police officials to collect more information related to terror attack.
“The NIA team last evening reached Narsu area in Samroli, Udhampur and visited the spot where two militants attacked a BSF convoy on August 5,” official sources said here today.
They said two NIA teams have been constituted as one of them is camping in Srinagar alongwith militant arrested alive on his disclosures made during interrogation.
“The NIA team met locals and also visited the place where Naved alias Usman was arrested by the locals,” sources said, adding that the investigating team, who took five day remand of the militant, held a detailed meeting with the local police also to ascertain the details of the encounter.
