JAMMU, Aug 10: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) presented Hindustani Nukkud “Eellum Seekho Nasha Chodo” in collaboration with BLSKS in its Monday theatre series.
The Nukkad was written and directed by Vijay Malla and assisted by Anuroop Pathania.
The play projects that young generation should concentrate on studies and not indulge in anti-social activities and bad habits.
According to the play, Romesh, a student was daily advised by his parents from time to time that he should never develop bad habits and should always avoid company of bad boys who indulge in anti social activities.
“One day his (Romesh) friends offer him to enjoy drugs in their company. But Romesh was firm and determined and did not take drugs because it is destruction of mankind. Romesh’s friends force him to take drugs but he stands with his principles and noble advice of his parents.
Romesh narrates his poem which he has written for those who are habitual of taking drugs and explains them the results of drug addiction.
Finally his friends are convinced and realize that drug addiction is fatal for their health and future. So they decide and stop all kind of bad habits including drug addiction and start a campaign against drug abuse in their area to aware the youth about the ill-effects of drugs.
On the occasion, Rajesh Kumar, Vice Chairman of Ishwar Academy was the chief guest, whereas Soniya Dogra, Shashi Bala, Dimple Kumari, Ritu Kumari, Rimpy Kumari, Renu Bala, Kiran Bhat, Annu Bala, Sunita Kumari and Aarti Devi were also present.
The actors, who performed in the nukkad were Kanta Sharma, Munish Kereni, Shalu Kumari, Anuroop Pathania, Aruj Mahajan, Raj Kumar and Vijay Malla.
