SRINAGAR, Aug 12: One person was killed and six others were injured in different road mishaps.
A police spokesman said that a Tata mobile bearing registration number JK07/4169 hit and injured a child near Flopora in Drass area of Kargil district. “The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
The spokesman said a load carrier bearing registration number JK03D/8280 and an Innova car bearing registration number JK015/3012 collided with each other at Pazalpora in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district resulting in injuries to Iqra Jan, Abdul Rashid Bhat and Farooq Ahmad Reshi. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Tata sumo bearing registration numbers JK09/2559, JK05B/79238 and a motorcycle bearing registration number JK09/7538 met an accident near Rest House Kralpora in Kupwara district resulting in injuries to Sabreena and motorcyclist Jaffar Hussain Bhat and a pillion Shabir Ahmad Dar, the police spokesman said He said that all the injured persons were shifted to hospital for treatment. The police have taken cognizance.
