UDHAMPUR, Aug 12: Udhampur Police has worked out a burglary case under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramnagar and arrested two thieves with the recovery of stolen household domestic utensils.
The burglary had taken place on August 9 at the house of one Gopal Krishan, son of Kunti Kumar of Ward number 2, Chigli Chouri Ramnagar.
A Police party, led by SHO Ramnagar started investigation of the case and zeroed on two suspects who were subjected to thorough questioning. During the questioning, the suspects broke out and confessed to have committed the burglary. On the disclosure of these suspects, Police recovered stolen items, the total value of which was Rs 20000.
Police is also working on the involvement of these accused persons in some other burglary cases.
