SRINAGAR, Aug 12: The Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA) is continuing demolition drive in the non-permissible areas around Dal and Nigeen lakes in pursuance to the High Court directions.
In the latest drive the Enforcement Wing of LAWDA demolished several illegal structures at Bonigam Shalimar and inside the lakes.
The Enforcement Wing has cautioned the people against raising any illegal constructions in the non-permissible areas. The Enforcement Wing has also warned the tippers and load carrier owners not to carry any construction material in the prohibited areas in and around these lakes to preserve their pristine beauty.
