SRINAGAR, Aug 14: On behalf of Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayee,d who is also the President of the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Secretary of the Academy today presented a cheque of Rs. 50,000 to ailing artist-writer, Seth Rafi. The artist has been ailing for the past couple of months.
A prominent humourist and writer, Seth Rafi, who is the sole breadwinner of his family, got the financial help after Secretary Academy Dr. Aziz Hajini took up the issue with the Chief Minister.
The Secretary was accompanied by noted artists – Tariq Javed, Ayash Arif, Mushtaque Ali Ahmad Khan and Gul Javed.
