REASI, Aug 17: A forgery case has been registered by Mahore police against the then Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Mahore and a teacher for allegedly issuing three orders in favour of a Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) teacher by misusing their official positions.
As per sources, the state of affairs in the Education Department Mahore is so disarrayed that even those close to Ex-Minister can easily manipulate selection process for accommodating the influential persons.
Meanwhile, sources while sharing one of the events said that in the year of 2004, 2005 and 2006, a senior teacher namely Bashir Khatimat in connivance with the then ZEO Mahore Assadullah got issued three orders in favour of his brother Manzoor Khatimat, son of Ghulam Rasool Khatimat of Bathoi Mahore as ReT.
Sources further said that the three orders were issued to block the post so that no other candidate can apply for ReT post at Upper Ungla Bathoi. This was done so that the Bashir’s brother namely Manzoor Khatimat could attain the age of eligibility because at the time of appointment he was not eligible for the post.
While confirming the news, DySP Mahore Ayaz, said that a case in this regard has been registered against the then ZEO Mahore and the teacher at Mahore police station and further investigation is going on.
