Haq visits deceased ReT’s family, hands over relief cheque

KUPWARA, Aug 18: Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Abdul Haq today visited the home of ReT teacher  late Javaid Ahmad Khan of Khan Mohalla, Kroosan, Lolab who was found dead in Qamarwari area of Srinagar on last week.
The Minister expressed his sympathies and heartfelt condolences to bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul.
Mr. Haq provided a cheque of Rs 35000 to the next of kin of the deceased. He assured the family of providing job to one person besides education benefits to the children of the deceased teacher.
The Minister was accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, K R Ranjan and other officers of district administration.
Meanwhile, the Minister inspected SDH, Sogam and enquired about the facilities available to the patients. He also took stock of ongoing developmental works in and around the SDH, Sogam and directed the concerned for time bound completion of these works so that better healthcare facilities are provided in the hospital.
