JAMMU, Aug 18: Chief Judicial Magistrate Jammu Sunit Gupta today rejected the bail application of one Jami Bala, who was arrested by the Inspector Pervaz Sajjad of Crime Branch from Bangalore for duping people on the pretext of arranging admissions.
After hearing Advocate Naveen Kumar appearing for the accused whereas CPO Jawaid Ahmed Khawaja appearing for the State, CJM observed, “the present case reveals that accusations against the accused are quite serious in nature as the accused is found to be playing with the future of the youth in the name of securing seats in the professional colleges after getting hefty amount from their guardians”.
“If the accused is enlarged on bail under the given circumstances, it would be an encouragement to the likeminded persons, who are always in the search of duping the innocent persons of the society”, the court said.
With these observations, court rejected the bail application.
