BSNL Employees Union holds meet

JAMMU, Aug 19: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Employees Union held a meeting and decided to hold strike on the call given by All PSUs against the anti-workers police of the NDA Government.
In the meeting, Balbir Singh, president, BSNL Employees Union, New Delhi was the chief guest, whereas Avtar Singh, district secretary, SSA, Ludhiana and Gurcharan Singh, President were also present.
While speaking, the speakers apprised the participants about the motive behind for the strike on September 2. They added that the strike is against the anti-workers and anti-labourers policies of the NDA Government.
They added that the NDA Government by implementing anti-workers and anti-labourers policies wants to benefit the corporate houses on the name of development.
The government before coming into power said that it will not privatize PSUs but later announced to privatize LIC, Coal India, Railways and others, which is injustice with lower and middle class masses.
The speakers called on the participants to take part in the strike on September 2 in large numbers to make it a grand success.
