JAMMU, Aug 21: Residents of village Kotli Maniotrian, about 10 kilometers from Katra on Katra-Reasi road, have voiced concern over shift in the alignment of Dhansar-Katra PHE line and called upon the Government to construct the line as per the original acquisition plan.
In a s statement issued here, the residents said some officials were changing alignment of the water supply line, which was not justified. They appealed to the PHE Minister to direct the officials to execute the work as per the original alignment plan so that the people don’t suffer.
The people have threatened to launch agitation if any attempt was made to alter the alignment.
