Kishmish rises on fall in supply

NEW DELHI, Aug 22: Kishmish prices rose by Rs 100 per 40 kg in the national capital today due to increased offtake by stockists and bulk consumers amid low stocks following fall in supplies from producing areas.
Kishmish Indian yellow and green prices rose Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 4,900-5,900 and Rs 9,300-10,300 per 40 kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased offtake by stockists and bulk consumers amid fall in supplies from producing areas, mainly pushed up Kishmish prices at the dry fruit market here.

Almond (California) Rs 24,200, Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 10,900-11,400; Almond (Girdhi) Rs 7,500-7,700; Abjosh Afghani Rs 15,000-20,000.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 815-835 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 800-850 per kg. (PTI)
