NEW DELHI:
Ace off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is set to begin a new innings of his life by marrying his long time partner and actress Geeta Basra on October 29.
According to media reports, the bookings for the gala event have already been done in Hotel Club Cabana in Phagwara, but the staff has been asked to maintain it confidential.
A senior official from Club Cabana, however, confirmed the booking made by the family for the event. ”We have been booked for an event. We cannot disclose anything as we have been asked to maintain confidentiality,” said the club official.
The marriage invitations and other preparations would be finalised after Harbhajan return from Sri Lanka. Several film stars and cricketers are expected to attend the marriage.
The wedding date of the cricketer, who is currently in Sri Lanka as part of the Indian Test squad, could be altered if Bhajji retains his place in the Indian Team for the South Africa series. (AGENCIES)
