SRINAGAR : An Army helicopter crashed today in the central Kashmir district of Badgam in open fields, official sources said. Locals said that a loud explosion was heard when a helicopter crashed in open fields at Soibugh.
Police and other security force parties have rushed to the spot, details are awaited as Defence ministry spokesman was not available.
Police confirmed the crash.
