JAMMU, Aug 24 : A woman undergoing treatment for her burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) expired today at about 1.50 am.
According to a police spokesperson, the woman has been identified as Ritu Devi (31) wife of Sohan Lal, a resident of Akhnoor. On August 14 she was shifted here at GMCH with severe burn injuries, he said adding the woman expired today at about 1.50 am.
After conducting postmortem, the body of the deceased woman has been handed over to her legal heirs for last rites. The concerned police has already taken cognizance of the matter.
