REASI, Aug 24: ARTO Reasi has issued show cause notice to the owner of a vehicle for suspension/ cancellation of the route permit for violation of Motor Vehicle Rules.
An official spokesman said that on August 19, a matador bearing registration number JK14-5205 was plying on Reasi-Talwara route and on the same day the vehicle was challaned by ARTO for carrying 30 passengers—15 inside saloon and 15 backside saloon of the vehicle.
The ARTO has also issued show cause notice to the owner of the vehicle for suspension/cancellation of route permit of the vehicles. The picture about this vehicle carrying passengers beyond its approved capacity has also been published by Excelsior.
