BJP’s concern over delay in implementation of PM package

JAMMU, Aug 24: BJP Displaced Unit (Kashmir) has expressed grave concern over delay in implementation of PM’s employment package for Kashmiri migrants announced in 2008 by then Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh.
In a statement issued here, today the general secretary of Displaced Unit of the Party Virender Kuchroo said out of 6000 posts less than 2000 migrant youth were provided the Government job in Valley. He said though interviews have taken before a pretty long time for various posts the list has not been published till date with the result the displaced youth are in a lot of desperation as they left their private jobs outside the State and are sitting idle in the hope of the list which has not till date been published by the Government.
Terming it a grave injustice with the displaced community he demanded that immediate selection process for the remaining posts under PM package be started. Kuchroo also demanded that special recruitment drive be launched for migrant youth in police, para military forces and army and age relaxation be given to over-aged youth besides those who have crossed the upper age limit be provided soft loans for starting their own business under self employment scheme.
