Dimple raises voice against price rise

JAMMU, Aug 24: Sunil Dimple, president, Jammu West Assembly Movement has alleged that the Central Government has failed to stop the rising prices of all the essential commodities including the onions in the country and the State.
Addressing the media persons, Dimple criticized BJP Government at the Centre which has failed to check and control the hoarders, black marketing of the onions in the country. He questioned the Central Government, how it will bring the black money from the Swiss banks, if it cannot stop rising onion prices, which is a small issue.
Dimple said the rising prices have broken the back bone of the common man and the BJP Government is watching as a mute spectator.
He demanded to exempt the Sale Tax and VAT on the sale of petrol, diesel and LPG in the country and import the onions for the people.
He threatened to start country and State wide Jan Andolan against the rising prices soon.
