JAMMU, Aug 25: Federation of Industries (FoI), Jammu has criticized the Industries Department for non-clearance of pending State/ Central incentive cases of the unit holders.
In a meeting of the Federation held today under the chairmanship of Rajesh Jain the members discussed the issue regarding non serious attitude of Industries Department in respect of holding of regular meetings of the State Level Committee since February 2015, resulting huge pendency of cases of Central/State Incentives of Industrial Units with the Directorate of Industries Jammu/Kashmir. With this huge amount of the unit holders has been blocked.
The members present in the meeting raised serious concern over the deferment of State level meetings of the Industries Department from last six months for the reasons best known to the concerned officials in spite of the facts that the requisite funds available with the DIPP Govt of India for the release of incentives.
Federation members requested the Industries and Commerce Minster Chander Parkash to intervene in to the matter and issue immediate directions to the concerned officials to hold the meeting of State Level Committee as early as possible to clear the pending cases of Central/State incentives of the Industrial units.
The meeting was attended by Co-chairman FoI Lalit Mahajan, Romesh Badyal, Jatinder Aul, Devinder Verma, Ajit Bawa, Vijay Aggarwal, Rakesh Bhat- secretary general, SB Abrol -convener, Rahul Bansal sr. vice president BBIA, Bansi Lal Gupta Sr vice president, AoI Gangyal; Varun Singla vice president BBIA; Ashok Jain vice president, AoI Gangyal; PS Jaggi, Vijay Sharma, Viraaj Malhotra treasurer -BBIA, Sanjeev Vig treasurer- AoI Gangyal & other offce bearers of all Industrial Associations.
