SRINAGAR, Aug 28: A delegation of some Congress leaders from J&K met the visiting senior AICC leader and former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor here the other day.
The delegation included senior party members like general secretary Shahnawaz Choudhary, NSUI state president Neeraj Kundan, Iftikhar Ahmed- All India Election Commissioner NSUI, Youth Congress leader Ajaz Choudhary, Sahil Raina and others.
The Congress delegation during meeting with the visiting AICC leader, briefed him about the current political scenario in the State. They claimed that under the leadership of PCC chief G A Mir the Congress party is emerging stronger in the State.
The State Congress leaders claimed that with the wrong policies of the present PDP-BJP coalition, the Congress party is getting revived in the State which is good indication. They said with the policies of the BJP and PDP, the people have cursing the present dispensation and it will certainly help Congress to get political benefit in the State.
