Srinagar, Aug 28 : The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Javaid Mujtaba Gillani has promoted 94 Selection Grade Constables to the next rank of Head Constables, a police spokesman said here.
“The departmental promotion committee, which met under the chairmanship of the Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone, Srinagar had recommended the promotion of these 94 Selection Grade Constables to the next rank of head constable having lien and seniority with Kashmir Zone” the spokesman said.
He said the IGP Kashmir has issued formal promotion order in respect of these Selection Grade Constables.
