Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Aug 31: President, National Panthers Party (NPP) Balwant Singh Mankotia along with several other leaders visited village Sui to seek the welfare of the 51 migrant families of village Sadal of Pancheri in District Udhampur who had taken refuge there.
Balwant lambasted the District administration for its callous and apathetic attitude towards the people who have been marooned due to the natural calamity.
He regretted that the State administration had grossly failed to redress the grievances of the flood victims for the last one year and demanded that the migrants of Sadal should be treated at par with the Kashmiri migrants thus entitling them for all the benefits and privileges enjoyed by the latter.
While expressing solidarity with the people, Mankotia vowed that the Panthers Party shall not relent unless the Government acts promptly in providing relief and material to the victims of rains and floods.
Mankotia was accompanied by Randhir Singh, Vijay Kumar, etc.
