RAJOURI, Aug 31: Mystery shrouds the death of a 20-year-old boy, whose body was recovered from the nearby forest at village Tangiot in Kalakote area of district Rajouri today.
The deceased has been identified as Sadaqat Hussain, son of Khadam Hussain, resident of village Tangiot. The family members said that their son Sadaqat, who was student of BA Part-II went missing last evening and they continued searching for him till late night.
Today a villager noticed his body lying in the nearby forest and informed the family. The family informed police about the matter. It had been hanging from the branch of a small tree. Some injury marks were also visible on the body. It appeared that he had been done to death and then hanged from a tree to give twist to the case. The body was shifted to Kalakote hospital for postmortem. The police registered a case under Section 174 CrPC and started investigation.
