Welfare Society accuses Govt of ignoring 4 sectors of Durga Nagar

JAMMU, Aug 31:The Durga Nagar Welfare Society has expressed serious concern that while taking the construction of roads in hand in the area, the Sector 2, Sector 2, Extension, Sector 3 and Sector 3 Extension have been completely ignored.
The Welfare Committee said that being the part and parcel of the colony these sectors have been totally neglected so far as development is concerned.
It said though issue was taken up with the senior officers of PWD and JMC but to no avail. Moreover people of Durga Nagar are also not given any supply of K Oil, alleged the Society. Despite highly populated area which is spread over five kilometers it sans these facilities.
Meanwhile the Welfare Society constituted a Committee to take up the issues with the concerning authorities.
The Committee is headed by Rattan Lal Bhan ex Apex Committee member as its president. R L Pandita , J L Koul , J L Saraf, M K Bhat and Rattan Lal Koul have been elected as its vice president, general secretary, treasurer, secretary and joint secretary respectively. Besides, Raghunath Singh Chib, Moti Lal Koul and Avtar Krishen Koul were elected as members.
