JAMMU, Sept 8: Janipur police arrested two absconders, who were evading their arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Janipur police station conducted raids and arrested two absconders.
The accused have been identified as Ravi Kumar, son of Vishwanath of Orrisa, at present Ramzanpura Janipur and Kapil Sharma, son of Kamal Sharma of Rehari Colony.
Ravi was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 44/13 under Sections 341 and 323 RPC, whileas Kapil Sharma was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 18/2009 under Section 294 RPC.
Further investigations into the cases are going on.
Police team led by SHO Janipur police station Inspector Ajit Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO West Sandeep Choudhary, SP City Shiv Kumar Singh Chouhan and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajeev Pandey.
