NEW DELHI : Indian Test captain Virat Kohli is among 45 cricketers named for Delhi team’s Ranji Trophy camp beginning at the Feroz Shah Kotla here September 14.
Besides Kohli, who led India to a historic Test series triumph in Sri Lanka recently, the likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Ishant Sharma, Gautam Gambhir and Ashish Nehra were also named among the probables.
“The camp will start from Monday, September from 8:30am at Ferozeshah Kotla Grounds, New Delhi. The players will report to Madan Lal, Ex-Test cricketer who will be the Chief Mentor Advisor. He will be assisted by Amit Bhandari (former cricketer),” the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) vice-president Chetan Chauhan said in a release.
