KATRA, Sept 12: Katra Police today arrested a drug peddler and seized 800 gms of poppy straw from his possession.
The accused was identified as Bikram Singh of Gran Morh, Reasi. He was intercepted by a Police party, headed by SHO Katra, Inspector Kuldeep Krishan, under the supervision of SDPO Dr Ashok Sharma and Additional SP Sumir Kotwal, during patrolling duty at parking area Katra.
Two packets of poppy straw (Bhuki) weighing 800 gms, were recovered from his possession.
Police has registered a in this connection under Section 8/15 NDPS Act at Katra Police Station.
