JAMMU, Sept 12: A man today suffered minor bullet injury while he was passing by from Army’s firing range in Satwari area on city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a tractor driver namely Karam Chand (35)son of Banarsi Lal, a resident of Kirpalpur was injured this morning due to gun shot near firing range of Army in Raipur Satwari area when he was inadvertently passing from there. The man suffered a minor injury in his shoulder and rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where his condition was normal.
The spokesperson said that the Army had already sounded alert during routine practice but the victim accidentally moved from that area.
“However, a case has been registered and investigations started”, he added.
