SRINAGAR, Sept 13: Two persons were killed while nine others injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said here that a Load Carrier bearing registration number JK03C-5822 hit and injured a lady namely Zona Begum at Batengoo in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district. “The injured lady was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment where she succumbed to her injures,” he said.
A motorcycle bearing registration umber JK01U- 4932 on way from Pulwama to Pampore skipped-off the road at Kandizal near Pahroo crossing in Pulwama district, resulting in on spot death of Sajjad Ahmad Bhat injuries to 2 pillions namely Shahid Ahmad Bhat and Mehran Ahmad Malik. The injured were shifted to the Hospital for treatment.
He said a Magic Load carrier bearing registration number JK03D- 2983 hit an Auto bearing registration number JK03A-9235 at Batengoo in the district resulting in injuries to the driver of Auto identified as Reyaz Ahmad Dar.
The spokesman said a Tavera bearing registration number JK03D-8489 skidded-off the road near Titanic view at Jawahar Tunnel in Qazigund area of Kulgam district resulting in injuries to 3 passengers. “All the injured were shifted to Qazigund Hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
A mini truck bearing registration number JK01G-2524 skidded-off the road at Amargrah in Sopore Town of Baramulla district, resulting in injuries to its driver and two other passengers. All the injured were shifted to the Hospital for treatment.
He said a Truck bearing registration number Jk05-9159 collided with an Alto car bearing registration number Jk01Q-6469 near Padshahibagh Bridge Bypass in Nowgam area of city outskirts here, resulting in injuries to the Alto Car driver namely Ubaid Rehman.
