NEW DELHI, Sept 13:
The number of Indians killed in Friday’s crane crash in Mecca has reached 11, the Ministry of External Affairs said here today.
“After opening of mortuary this evening, officials confirmed that nine more Indians have unfortunately died in the mishap,’’ MEA Spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.
He said the India Mission was extending all possible assistance to the families of the 11 deceased pilgrims to complete formalities. (UNI)
