SRINAGAR, Sept 14: Twenty guests from Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) arrived here today while three Kashmiris crossed over to other side of the Line of Control (LoC) to meet their relatives separated in 1947 due to partition.
As many as 29 returnees also crossed sides at Kaman post, the last Indian military post on this side of the LoC in Uri sector in north Kashmir district of Baramulla, official sources said.
They said 20 PoK residents, half of them women, arrived at Kaman post after crossing the Aman Setu, peace bridge on foot today. Three residents of Kashmir who had crossed to other side in previous Karvan-e-Aman bus also returned after completing stay with their relatives in PoK.
However, only three Kashmiris, including a woman, crossed to other side to meet their relatives, separated in 1947. They said 26 PoK residents, who had arrived here in previous buses, returned to their homes after completing stay in Kashmir. They included 10 women.
