Baramulla, Sept 16: GOC Dagger Division, Major General Raj Shukla today visited the sliding site near Khanpura Bridge in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district where a portion of national highway was washed away.
He along with other military officers took stock of situation and directed speedy work. He directed to provide all possible assistance so that normalcy can prevail as soon as possible.
The civil administration has begun work along with the 46RR and Daggar Division of 19Div to restore the highway. Various military, police and civil administration officers were seen at the site of the incident who have moved various resources for speedy work.
“Simultaneously another track is being opened so that traffic can resume.
