UDHAMPUR, Sept 16: One person was injured when his van collided with truck near Peer Baba Jakhani, here today.
The injured was identified as Ahsan Ali (30), son of Ali Mohammad of Bhaderwah. He received multiple injuries in the accident and was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur. Police has registered a case in this connection.
Meanwhile, a young housewife was brought to District Hospital Udhampur after she allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at the house of her in-laws at village Basnot, Panchari. She was identified as Vaishno Devi (32), wife of Kirpal Singh. Her condition was stated to be stable now.
